Hurricane Odile Disaster Relief & Roof Repair Project:

Tortugueros Las Playitas and Todos Santos Palaperos are working to repair the hundreds of homes which lost their roofs during Hurricane Odile. With your support we can help families rebuild their homes and Todos Santos.

Palapa roofs and lamina roofs are down all over town, many families are living in homes without roofs with storms pending. As of September 22, teams have begun to restore electricity, but there is no city water, or refrigeration at markets.

Please help us rebuild our beautiful town. You can choose to donate to a specific family or neighborhood, or to the general fund which will be distributed according to need.

September 24, 2014 Update: Power and water have been restored to parts of Todos Santos. There are still many homes without electricity, without roofs, and without water. Some local markets now have electricity but supplies are few. It's hard to find milk, cheese , and meat products. Many homes have water leaking from tinacos as the winds destruoyed rooftop connections. Helicopters are still flying over on a daily basis. Local schools are planning to reopen sometime in October.

We know our community is strong and will rebuild itself. Any support you can offer is truly appreciated.
